John Doyle assists locals to be the ‘best they can be’

“Former Queensland State of Origin player John Doyle is assisting locals to become the best they can be, with a new 12 week challenge starting on January 28.
The program focuses on a variety of different elements including 48 fitness sessions, additional home workouts, one-on-one consultations and workshops for injury prevention, as well as nutrition and supplement information.”

“Mount Isa's proud history of generating rugby league stars from Scott Prince to Kalyn Ponga may soon be continued after three young men were selected in the Cowboys under 18 feeder side Townsville Blackhawks.
Mount Isa second rower Teurewera Potini, centre Simeona Tala-Sio and fullback Hayden Andrews will now pack up their belongings and head to the coast thanks to a new sports program called Battlewon.
Battlewon is the brainchild of former NRL player John Doyle, who is now the owner of Three Sons fitness gym in Mount Isa, and still plays for Townies.”

Battlewon creator John Doyle said the visit was not possible without the help of Mount Isa rugby coordinator Kurt McGregor.
"It's great having community minded people like Kurt who helped sort out this visit and now thanks to him these kids get to see what professional athletes do and how their lives work," Mr Doyle said.”

Some might think former NRL player John Doyle’s time is wasted trying to get through to teenage criminals, but he sees it as giving them a chance they’ve never had before.
Doyle runs a health and fitness program out of his gym, Three Sons Fitness, in the CBD of Mount Isa and has kids lined up at his door before he’s even open.
They’re from all walks of life, some repeat offenders, some on the cusp of crime, but they’re all in his gym for one reason, to feel a part of something.

“Each week, the group gained momentum and from these basic beginnings, internal and external partnerships were formed with Gidgee Healing’s Headspace Service’s, Clinical Lead, local youth services providers, Young People Ahead, Injilinji Youth Services and John and Jacinta Doyle’s “3 Sons Fitness” program to provide a more therapeutic approach to support not only these young people, but other young people referred with their families to Gidgee Healing Programs.”
